Day Players ("we", "us") is a programme of My First Job in Film. This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you apply to, or work with, Day Players. Please review and edit this text — it is a starting template, not legal advice.

Who we are

Day Players / My First Job in Film is the data controller for the information you provide. Contact us at hello@dayplayersfilmcrew.com.

What we collect

  • Details you give us when you apply: your name, email, phone, location, department, experience and any CV or photo you upload.
  • Records of placements, communications and payments where relevant.

Why we collect it

To assess your application, match you with productions, administer placements and invoicing, and keep you informed. Our lawful bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in running the placement programme (and, for invoices, our legal obligations).

How long we keep it

We keep applicant and placement records for as long as needed to run the programme. Invoices and financial records are retained for the period UK tax law requires (around six years). You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time (see below).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email hello@dayplayersfilmcrew.com and we will action it, including permanently deleting your profile and any files.

Applicants under 18

If you are under 18, please apply with a parent or guardian's awareness. Contact us with any questions about how we handle a young person's data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the latest version always lives on this page.
